Ellie Drake and Paul Ryan headed a most proficient team and presented a wonderful event at the LAX Westin Hotel that begain Friday and ended late afternoon yesterday with the BraveHeart “Inner and Outer Beauty” segments in which I was a participant.

Saturday evening the Westin was transformed with smiling greeters and an actual Red Carpet walk for the BraveHeart Awards.  Delta Burke (what a heartfelt speech she offered when receiving her award that Meshach Taylor presented), Carol Channing – she actually sang her signature song with “Hello BraveHearts” substituted for “Hello Dolly”, Francis Fischer, Stephanie Powers, Michael Beckwith and his lovely wife, Rita, Les Brown and Loni Anderson added to the festivities of the evening.
