The Ageless Sisters, Jackie Silver and I, just attended the finest beauty show and wowee, zowee we met quite a few amazing women who have sensational products to offer.

Daniela Ciocan, Marketing Director of North America Cosmoprof presented the 2010 Discover Beauty Award to Barista Bath and Body for their innovative organic coffee-inspired product line. Jackie and I had interviewed Daniela earlier in the day and we discovered a fabulous woman who has molded this huge show into a first class affair. We videotaped our interview with Daniela thanks to Salon Galaxy and Art DiGiacomo.

Imagine sensory overload as aisle after aisle offers the newest lotions and potions.  We discovered Touch Back, a temporary hair color that is housed as a magic marker. I watched in amazement as Joan Lasker, creator of this sensational product, expertly touched glistening roots with her marker and saw them turn dark brown. This is definitely a must have for roots; the product dries quickly and stays on until your hair is shampooed.

Jackie and I found mood nail polish from Blue Cross, DermOrganic Argan Oil hair treatments, Olive Oil Girls hair products that are gentle for young girls’ relaxer processes and FacePro shields that keep those tiny hairs from sticking to your face, lips and eyes when you are getting a haircut. We saw Dimitri James from Skinn.Com several times and his booth was bustling as he introduced Skinnsurance.

Our feet ached, we were exhausted from talking and talking but were delighted that we had such a great time seeing and meeting the Who’s Who in the very huge world of cosmetics.
