Lynda Lippin, sans makeup, after her Facial Magic face lift.
A few years ago while we were working at Parrot Cay, my husband started to play with my chin wattle. What started as a cutesy joke quickly turned into a fight.
Me: “Don’t play with my wattle; you’ll only make it worse!”
Hubby: “But I love everything about you, and it’s so cute!”
Me: “IT’S NOT CUTE!”
Gravity is not our friend as we age. As an exercise and fitness professional, I know that exercising muscles in our bodies keeps them toned and helps keep the skin attached to the tissue underneath, so it makes sense to me that exercising facial muscles would do the same. However, exercising the face is tough for at least two reasons: there are a lot of small specialized muscles (43, in fact) and unlike most of the body’s muscles, most facial muscles have only a single bony attachment, and some have none at all.

Such sad news that one of our favorite song birds left us recently. Whitney Houston had long been one of my favorite stars and her voice was magical when she sang songs that demonstrated her range of talent.
Several articles were released after her passing suggesting that she had contemplated a surgical face lift and that her surgeon, Dr. Marc Mani refused the singers request. I understand that this young, beautiful and talented woman was denied the procedure due to medical testing for heart, liver and lung function.

Those who are DivaDebbi subscribers, know I’m particularly interested in products and experiences that help maintain youthful, radiant beauty. I browse, books, magazine and the Internet for information to try and share with my readers.
I first learned about Jackie Silver, author and radio personality, while perusing Amazon for anti-aging books. Jackie wrote Aging Backwards:Secrets to Staying Young, filled with her secrets, tips and shortcuts for looking and feeling young.

You could use a new best friend. A best friend that supports you, encourages you and helps you to always put your best face forward. Growing old gracefully has never been easier when you choose the all natural pathway that Mother Nature would approve of and that would be facial exercise.

Everyday men and women choose surgery and injections just hoping these modalities will help them look younger. Sometimes these procedures do not produce the desired effect and the face becomes contorted, misshapen and not very pretty. Don’t let that happen to you! You can avoid all unexpected facial mishaps by choosing Facial Magic – the all natural exercise program that helps your face look 5, 10 even 15 years younger.

Our Ageless Sister Jackie has written a informative article on how to Age Backwards. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
Welcome to a new, exclusive 7-part Spa Week Daily blog series by guest columnist Jackie Silver, who ages backwards. Not in a Benjamin Button kind of way, but Jackie has mastered the art of looking half her age, so much that she’s built a successful business out of helping others do the same. This is Jackie, at age 25 and now at 50 – I’ve met her and it’s not just lighting and camera angles… the girl looks GOOD. Her first secret? Work it out.

I admit that the idea of facial exercise to get rid of wrinkles, lines and the effects of gravity on my jaw line, neck and chin held a certain appeal to me. I know the results a person can get from regular exercise in the gym so it made sense that you should be able to do something similar with the muscles in the face.
