Should You ‘Double Cleanse’ Your Face at Night?

Blackheads, oily skin, breakouts? There might be an easy fix for this. There are lots of articles regarding cleaning your face twice. I like to believe these experts are correct:  double washing your face, especially at night, is very good advice. The day’s debris is evident on my washcloth, especially if I’ve worn makeup. Usually a one-time cleaning isn’t enough because even using toner on a cotton ball will demonstrate there are makeup traces left behind.

Try this:  Apply your favorite cleanser with a tiny bit of water to your face and neck. Let the cleanser sit without touching it for 30 seconds. Now, using a warm, wet washcloth, start removing the cleanser. After each swipe, rinse it thoroughly and keep removing the cleanser. Grab another dampened washcloth and swipe it over your face…does it look clean? If not, you may want to double wash your face at night. Use a toner at night before you apply your moisturizing serums and lotions.

Your body and face regenerate at night so give your face the best advantage by making certain it is CLEAN before you sleep. I know you will see the difference in hardly any time at all as your moisturizers will actually seem to work better and better.
