Slouching and slumping will add years to your appearance so if you want to appear healthier and younger, here are three ways to make a difference:

  1. When standing tighten your stomach/abdomen muscles. Slightly push your hips forward and then suck those muscles inward and hold for at least 10 seconds. Release and repeat.
  2. Practice walking faster with your head level looking straight ahead. Again keep those ab muscles taut. Get used to this new feeling you are creating.
  3. Deep breathing is beneficial for your entire body. Inhale, hold for 8 seconds, slowly exhale while tightening those abs. Repeat several times. Hold your shoulders erect.
