Slouching and slumping will add years to your appearance so if you want to appear healthier and younger, here are three ways to make a difference:
- When standing tighten your stomach/abdomen muscles. Slightly push your hips forward and then suck those muscles inward and hold for at least 10 seconds. Release and repeat.
- Practice walking faster with your head level looking straight ahead. Again keep those ab muscles taut. Get used to this new feeling you are creating.
- Deep breathing is beneficial for your entire body. Inhale, hold for 8 seconds, slowly exhale while tightening those abs. Repeat several times. Hold your shoulders erect.
