My Passion for Faces and The Big Reveal

Growing up on a working farm where we raised cattle, barley, and wheat in rural Oklahoma, one learns to appreciate beauty from an early age.

On a farm, beauty comes in many forms. Whether you are enjoying the fragrance of a newly plowed field or seeing baby lambs nuzzle their moms or watching an entire field once dormant and fallow spring forth with new growth, this type of beauty is felt deep within our souls when you live on a farm.

So how did a young girl who lived 20 miles from the county seat develop such a passion for faces?

Vogue Magazine.

My mother’s best friend, Carly, was a high school teacher in Tulsa, and she was one of my favorite mentors. She loved fashion and subscribed to many magazines that she would pass to my mom, me and my sisters. These magazines were greatly appreciated but the most compelling information came from Vogue and Photoplay, and I eagerly looked forward to Carly’s visits.

I was struck with amazement seeing the sophistication of celebrities as my eyes began to appreciate how their faces were the key to their beauty.

There were very few, if any, cosmetic interventions then other than maybe cleverly placed tape just below the temples or behind the ears to lift the lower face. Faces were truly beautiful and natural looking because there were so few injections and surgeries then. We recognized our celebrities.

Even today, many women opt for facial enhancements that plump and paralyze sagging skin hoping it will stop the look of old. As you’ve likely heard, young women in their 20’s are using these very substances regularly. This is alarming, especially when their ages are guessed to be in the 35 to 40 range, rather than a youthful 27-year-old.

Choosing injections and surgery at any age to maintain your beauty is costly, you may or may not like your results, and these interventions will require revision and top-offs. Long term health ramifications are not typically discussed but they’re there.

That’s why I fell in love with Facial Magic® facial exercise. The very idea that I could forego anything harmful and unnatural yet control how my face aged was a candidate for front page news.

Experiencing the remarkable benefits of keeping one’s face toned and lifted – youthful – for a lifetime totally excited me then and still does!  Trying to imagine my 40-year-old face at 75 or more was unfathomable because I knew what facial aging looked like from observing my relatives through the years.

The big reveal? I am over 75 years old and still look and act remarkably youthful and it’s all because I was faithful to Facial Magic.
