Natural Beauty at its Best

Remember that drop-dead-gorgeous face and figure you had at age 25? Talk about perfect – you were natural beauty at its best, but over time we learned that to maintain natural beauty, there were many facets of good health that required adherence to and adoption into one’s lifestyle day by day.

If you chose cigarettes and alcohol, you may be fighting the effects of constant puckering, and everyone knows that sugary alcohol can cause your face to bloat and over time, the repetitive puckering motion from smoking will create permanent lines and wrinkles.

Give up wine for a month – take a selfie, hop on the wagon for 30 days, take another photo and be dazzled by the difference. Wine face is not attractive because the bloat makes your face look unhealthy and your waistline thick.

Lifestyle changes – choosing a better diet, enjoying a type of exercise that helps you move and groove, drinking more water daily to stay in tip-top health, and getting uninterrupted sleep will increase your natural beauty quotient.

Drinking water is absolutely necessary for good health but seriously, can you down the recommended 64 ounces in a day by “sipping” – little sips throughout the day…most of us are too busy and otherwise engaged to participate in little sips. I say chug. Pour a tall glass of water and drink it. Do this 6 times throughout the day – the earlier the better. Your facial skin will begin to look plumper, and you’ll feel more engaged with life.

If you do not do the simple and easy things that make a difference, you will realize that you’ve cheated yourself out of the very thing you wanted – a youthful face. Natural beauty comes with a price – it’s called Paying Attention and when you give yourself permission to make the right choice, these choices have positive consequences that you will see in the mirror.

Speaking of mirrors, working without a mirror is like a trapeze artist working without a net…if you want to create a better-looking face, you cannot sit in front of the television hoping to execute the Facial Magic® routine without the one thing that can give you feedback – a mirror. This very act of forgoing your feedback – your mirror – assures your disappointment because you’re not concentrating on you or accomplishing your desire to create a beautiful face.
