Can Botched Plastic Surgery be Fixed?

Plastic surgery, long sought after for some, especially those in the entertainment industry, can have its share of problems.

For the everyday person saving money or going into debt for a surgical beauty procedure and then not waking up with the desired results can be more than disappointing as revision surgery, the procedure hoping to correct the initial mistake, is costly.

Living with a botched eyelid can be an embarrassment as we learn from Susan (her name has been changed). This 40-something woman had hooded eyelids and thin, almost translucent, crepy upper eye skin.

She reiterates that choosing a qualified, well-trained surgeon is paramount to having a good outcome…she learned the hard way when a strange “flap” appeared next to her eye after her eyelid procedure. This added skin was later removed and the area repaired but the shock of the botch was evident as she struggled through tears explaining her disappointment.

Originally, Susan wanted a laundry list of procedures but after her eyelid debacle, she swore off all surgeries even though she longed for liposuction.

Liposuction results, surgically removing extra fat from the body usually in a targeted location, can be iffy as pain and recuperation are to be considered. Achieving the desired results in 6 weeks or so, can be challenging and daunting as this surgery requires time away from most activities and enlisting help for most everyday tasks.

Surgical procedures – they sound so lovely – eyelid surgery, liposuction, facelift, breast augmentation – all have risks that must be addressed before you ever go under the knife.

Infection, excessive bleeding, nerve damage, and more can sap your confidence in the medical community when procedures go awry. Revision surgery is anxiety producing as fear, even hopelessness can overtake your sanity.

To avoid disappointment, anxiety, risk of infection, loss of sensation, even death, use non-surgical, proven methods of facial rejuvenation like Facial Magic® Facial Exercise.
