Are You Eating Eggs Daily?

Eating eggs has been maligned by some experts who would like us to believe that these delicious and nutritious gifts from birds might be detrimental to our health. “Eat too many and your cholesterol numbers will be off the chart.” Ha! Eggs contain all nine essential amino acids

Not everyone agrees.

Here’s the latest from Dr Alan Mandell, a chiropractor based in Miami, Florida, a motivational health guru who offers lots of superb health advice on YouTube and other channels. If you haven’t seen his videos, you’re missing out on his take from wrinkles to sleep and everything in between. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCKcWSiffY8MpZ3NKav8LeRA

EGGS

A serving of eggs (2 medium) provides enough choline to support brain function for the day. But that’s not all!

– High-Quality Protein: Eggs are a complete protein source, containing all nine essential amino acids needed for muscle repair and growth.

– Vitamin B12: Essential for red blood cell formation and neurological function, helping you stay sharp and energized.

– Vitamin D: Supports bone health by aiding calcium absorption and maintaining healthy immune function.

– Riboflavin (Vitamin B2): Plays a crucial role in energy production and the breakdown of fats, drugs, and steroid hormones.

– Selenium: Acts as a powerful antioxidant, protecting your cells from damage and supporting thyroid health.

– Iron: Vital for oxygen transport in the blood and energy production, preventing fatigue and boosting overall vitality.

Eggs are a nutritional powerhouse that can help you stay healthy and strong! 🥚💪

One item that was missing from Dr Mandell’s list was he did not advocate only eating the whites of the egg…no…eat the whole egg for the best health results.

There was an article written in March 2026 regarding rebuilding leg strength explaining how eggs support stronger leg muscles, especially as we age. Another factor mentioned was that declining muscle mass (sarcopenia), especially in the lower leg calf muscle, is one of the first noticeable leg areas to lose strength.

Fry them, bake them, or boil them…eggs are easy and delicious when veggies are added in an omelette.
