Growing up in the sixties, I got married very young and had my children quite soon after marriage. My body was supple and strong, naturally. As I aged my skin needed more attention. I would moisturize my outer body every day, to keep it fresh and hydrated. I worked out regularly, took dance classes and felt in really good shape.
My inner body was another issue. I went into menopause at 43. Very soon thereafter I noticed that my inner body started to dry up, I was mortified. Dr. Greene said to me “Honey, women are like prunes, as the fruit ages it dries up, just like us”. So out of desperation I went on hormone replacement therapy. Olga’s Bio
I found myself divorced after 19 years of marriage and also out of work, as fire destroyed the cosmetic company I was working for. I knew I could get another job, but being very involved with customer relations and product development, I scrapped together what little money I had and in January 1984, OGM COSMETIC LABS LTD. was born. With five strong companies that committed to work with me, by May of that year, we moved into our new offices. Six other women came to work for me and between the seven of us; we created, manufactured and shipped product to our new customers. We were one of the first women owned cosmetic manufacturing companies.
Women were just starting to be recognized back then and business opportunities opened up.
As my business grew, by 1990, we had about 50 employees and with the help of my new husband we vigorously expanded into many different areas of manufacturing. We created mostly color cosmetics; lipstick, mascara, lipgloss, foundation, etc. By moving into powder pressing and treatment it allowed for a complete diversified operation.
I retired from manufacturing after 22 years (in 2006). But with all my experience working with oils and essential ingredients I started a new company, Grohen Technologies LTD. and introduced a new brand called Inner Intimates. Vaginal Renewal Complex and Vaginal Wash were brought to market in the fall of 2010.
