Thousands of Women ‘Risking Their Lives Having Buttock Implant Surgery Abroad’

Egads, surgery is dangerous business and if you are contemplating a trip to a foreign land to change your appearance for less dollars, you need to think again. Buttock implants, liposuction, face lifts and other cosmetic procedures can be life threatening under optimum circumstances. Having procedures in foreign countries may not provide even “good” care.

I once was on a flight from LA to Wichita, KS where I noticed a young woman crying most of the 3+ hour non-stop flight. When we landed I asked if there was something I could do to help and she explained that her best friend had died during a lipo-procedure in Mexico and she was accompanying the body back to Kansas. Sad, needless and so tough on those family and friends left behind.
