11-Year-Old Birke Baehr: What’s Wrong With Our Food System

Sometimes it takes a child to lead us. 11-year-old Birke Baehr presents his take on a major source of our food — far-away and less-than-picturesque industrial farms.

According to Birke keeping farms out of sight promotes a rosy, unreal picture of big-box agriculture. And don’t get him started on what’s wrong with genetically modified foods…yuck. In this engaging and entertaining presentation he outlines the case to green and localize food production.
