How do all those celebrities manage to look so composed on the red carpet tottering around on sky-high heels? It isn’t easy to pull off the super high heel look…unless those shoes are made for your own feet. Now, a new company offers custom-made shoes online. The people at high-tech fashion startup Shulogique are determined to make comfortable high heels a reality by utilizing advanced digital technology.

First they scan women’s feet and then use that 3D image to create shoes that fit the biomechanics of each foot, therefore achieving a unique level of comfort. Then each woman can go to their website, pick a style, a heel height and color.

“We offer you tools to customize the designs through our one-of-a-kind design center. That way, we make sure the shoes fit your sense of style as well. Finally, to complement the look, we will offer custom-made handbags and belts designed to fit your lifestyle,” says Shulogique Co-Founder and Director of Strategic Planning, Natalia Carrasco.

Shulogique holds “scanning events” during which women get their feet scanned, test the company’s shoe samples, view the shoe collection and create their own personalized shoe designs through a 3D design tool. The data they collect helps them perfect their algorithms to create high heels that are actually comfortable.

The entire scanning process takes less than five minutes per person. You only have to go through the process once and you will be ready to start shopping for shoes online.

After you get your feet scanned, you can select a shoe design via their online gallery. “Our wide collection of styles goes from classic to innovative and from sexy to professional. As we increase the number of styles, you will always be able to go back and re-order your favorite ones,” Carrasco explains.

Shulogique offers both 2″ and 4″ heels in every shoe style. Completely personalize your shoes by selecting from over 25 different materials and colors.

The company is looking for women who want to become Shulogique testers. There are two ways to become a tester. Attend a scanning event by registering online or host your own event. The details are available at the Shulogique Website.
