Shining Service Worldwide™ is an organization that supports women currently serving in the military, vets and military spouses.
Too often our females in service fall through the cracks and don’t get the attention they deserve, or more importantly, they need. We want to help provide those resources for them.
Through the following three missions we support their successful reintegration back into civilian life.
Shining Service Makeovers:
Our exciting beauty events are featured in first class salons and spas all over the country. They are designed to show our appreciation for all the women connected to life in the military. A makeover mission “deploys” a select mix of deserving women for a day of beauty, pampering and personal styling advice.
The Power Of Ten:
Our mentoring program is designed to help a woman’s successful reintegration back into civilian life. Women face many challenges, and even though she does has veteran’s programs available to her, it’s just not enough. We are there to provide the added personal attention she needs to succeed.
The Power of Ten Mentoring program combines the ease of online connection with the personal touch of personal mentoring. We provide a fully stocked resource library, informational teaching videos – provided by 10 highly-acclaimed experts, plus a once-a-week personal mentoring session via SKYPE.
The areas we cover in our program are: Health, Beauty, Happiness, Love and Sex, Finances, Career Development, Motherhood & Family, Spirituality & Faith, Self Esteem, Personal Power.
When a woman completes the program the help continues through our network of referral partners.
The Shining Service Bracelet:
Our bracelet campaign is all about showing support for all women connected to the military family. The bracelet was designed with just the right amount of bling that our ladies love. Sales of the bracelets help fund our Makeover and Power of Ten Mission, plus finance the development of new and broader initiatives.
Shining Service Worldwide™ is proud to be a special project under the umbrella of our Fiscal Sponsor, United Veterans Beacon House, Inc, a not-for-profit charitable organization dedicated to providing transitional housing to our nation’s veterans.
Our work is based on the principle that if you empower a woman a woman and give her the proper tools, she will be equipped for a successful reintegration back into civilian life. Founder, Linda Franklin, a former Wall Street executive, now a women’s social empowerment advocate, is the Executive Director of Shining Service Worldwide.
